Why didn't they just fight each other in real life? Or at least f-ck with each other more directly? Kitaoka was content playing mind games with Kido, which fits for a guy who's an underhanded lawyer . . .but Asakura's a thug. He should have just beat up Akiyama in real life! Sneak up on him in an alley way and stab him or something.

Also, they transform in the real world before jumping into a reflection. Why bother? Can't they fight AS Kamen Riders in the real world, at least against each other? They wouldn't get timed out like they do in the Mirror World, right?

I think secrecy is the biggest factor. With all the fighting going on in the Mirror World, nobody from the real world can easily find out about it. If they fought here they'd have to deal with attracting attention and maybe having the police or even military intervene - not to mention the widespread panic that would arise when the Contract Monsters showed up (assuming, that is, that the Contract Monsters could fully manifest for long outside of the Mirror World - another reason why the fighting may need to stay confined there). Even Jun and Asakura valued the idea of keeping other people out of their war.
