That's what I'm wondering. It looks like he was going to confess his plans if Libra hadn't shown up. I think he's on the side of good in all this and he only sent Ryusei away to keep up appearances, but it is really hard to figure out what his master plan is. Either way, the last block of episodes is looking to be really epic.

Hopefully we'll get to see Ryusei in the Dark Nebula, ideally teaming up with all the other characters who've been sent there to try and find a way out (except Kijimia - fuck Kijima).
