and dinobot wasn't controversial at all.. he's a major character that EVERYONE loved and was the main character of the most emotional transformers TV show EVER.

..so i'm not sure your argument holds up considering all of that. . i mean, the second year of the hall of fame ironhide, ratchet, and soundwave were the entries chosen by hasbro, and waspinator was the one the fans voted in.

He was the first fan nominated, which is obviously what I was saying. He was up against Soundwave, Grimlock, Jazz and Shockwave. Yes, Beast Wars is better then G1, but he was by far the one considered the least likely to win and he won via a lot of fans banding together to support him and the fact that a Beast Wars character beat out four of the most popular G1 characters had a vary varied reaction.

So your argument doesn't hold up at all. Yes, they did make sure that the four they really wanted got in, but that's something maybe Bandai should've considered rather then rigging it to make sure the one they want to win wins.
