What bugs me is the complete lack of effort, he has no knees, elbows or even really defined parts, limbs begin and end where the paint stops and starts. If this was animation, or a higher budget production, they could probably pull it off - well maybe - but as it stands it just looks like a borderline spoof, a joke at the cardboard appearance of other better designed sentai robos.

I mean hell, the poor fella doesn't even have a neck, making him look awkwardly squashed like those guys who over work their shoulders without balancing their weight training elsewhere. The mecha is supposed to combine into a robot but the ToQ mecha takes trains, sticks them in a line and puts a head on it. JOB DONE, LET'S GO HOME, SUCKERS ARE STILL BUYING IT.

I mean it doesn't even look good, look at the ridiculous proportions, I dunno how this will even work in the show, will the guy be on stilts?
