Definitely. The Boukenger episode may have felt unnecessary to Gokaiger, but that's because in the original plan for the show they weren't going to be doing tributes like that for old shows, if they didn't have a Gokai Machine/Power coming out in toy form. But that episode serves as an excellent continuation of the series proper.
