I forget the writer's name off-hand, but he isn't part of Gaim's staff, no. He's someone who's been working as an assistant writer on Kobayashi's last couple projects - OOO and Go-Busters. I'm not sure if this is his first work with the ToQGers or not, but he did seem to have a better handle on them (except Kagura, who he wrote more like the "airhead Pink" stereotype). But yeah, all of the Gaim characters were really, really off.

Totally agreed. Personally, I plan to just forget this thing ever happened.
