Jetman is a perfectly average series ultimately, whether you take into account the context, age of it etc whereas Liveman is legitimately great.
Sadly, I must disagree. I love both series, but if I were to compare the two, I would go more towards Jetman. I love the casts in both shows (rangers and villains), but I feel those of Jetman are far more complex than those in Liveman. The other thing is, Liveman felt like it was started to thin out its ideas until they brought Black and Green in, but then when they did, those two felt forced in. Liveman definitely would have been better suited as a 26 episode series than a 50 episode one. Jetman, while it does have its filler, never felt like it had to be shorted. My only problem with Jetman is how awkward Gai's stance seemed to change every few episodes. Sometimes he acts just like a normal part of the team, the next episode he wants to quit and take Kaoru with him, while the next episode will have him back to being a normal member.
You can't go wrong with either show, but I can't help but feel Jetman is the better of the two. I will state that out of all of the shows I have seen from the 81-90, Liveman is probably the best. To be fair, I have not seen anything from Changeman and I've only seen Flashman up to episode 20.
