Chapter 1 of The Royalty Arc (Episode 16 of the series)
Called out by the general of Nightmare, Set, the Mythonger prepare to face the brute, knowing that if Nightmare had ever found their homes, their loved ones would be in danger.

"Joji? Is that you?" "Yes mom." "Well, get inside son, it'll be dark soon." As soon as his mother turned her back, Joji pulled out the hexagonal MythoTome buckle. "Sorry mom, MYTHOSPELL- SLEEP!" His mother fell back as he caught her. Joji cried a bit, but took his mother and placed her on the couch and left her a note saying he'd be back in the morning.

"Did you leave a note?" "Yes." "You do know we may not come back from this alive, right?" "Joji, don't listen to them, we'll be alright. I know we'll come home to our families tomorrow." "Tomomi, we can't make those kind of promises. Is everybody ready?" "Yes!" "Let's go."

The 5 each entered the outskirts of the city, in front of a tomb, just as Set told them. When they arrived, the Jackal-like General jumped from the highest pillar of the tomb and created a crater from where he landed. "You all know what's at stake here, right? If you fall before me today, nobody will stop us from devastating this world. Nightmare will crush the dreams of everybody on this planet-"
"Shut the hell up."
WHAT WAS THAT YOU INSOLENT WHELP?!
"I said shut the hell up. Do you really think that we would come here today thinking that we would lose? You talk big about crushing dreams, but our dreams are about crushing you Nightmare bastards! Everybody ready!
"YEAH!"
"Mythology! Yume Hatsudo!"

Placing their MythoTome Buckles on their belts, the 5 Mythongers are surrounded by auras of light of their respective colors

DRAGON! BASILISK! VAMPIRE! WEREWOLF! KYUUBI! MYTHOOOOOO- RED! BLUE! VIOLET! GRAY! PINK!

"Arashi no yume da! Aka no ryu, MythoRed!"
"Kashikoi no yume da! Ao no basilisk, MythoBlue!
"Yami no yume da! Murasaki no kyuuketsuki, MythoViolet!"
"Kowai no yume da! Haiiro no garou, MythoGray!"
"Okashi no yume da! Pinku no kyuubi, MythoPink!"
"Sekai no yume da, oretachi mamoru! Yume Sentai, MYTHONGER!"

The 5 Mythonger charged at Set, who took out his scythe and started swinging it. Tomomi (MythoPink) and Joji (MythoGray) managed to dodge his first swipe, but looked back quickly to see that a tree nearby was cut clean in half.

"Damn, can't let that thing touch us! Ready Tomomi?" "Ready!" "MYTHOSPELL- WOLF CLAW!" "MYTHOSPELL- FOX ILLUSION!"

Joji bore his claws and blocked Set's downward swipe upon him, when a pink mist started to form around Set's face. Set then kicked Joji out of the way and threw his scythe at Tomomi. Hikaru (MythoBlue) grabbed her and jumped out of the way.

"Be careful Tomomi. Let us handle it, Set is more physical with his attacks, your illusions seems to be ineffective against him." Hikaru placed her down as Yamiko (MythoViolet) jumped beside him.

"MYTHOSPELL- BASILISK STAFF!"
"MYTHOSPELL- VAMPIRE FAN!"

Hikaru and Yamiko charged at Set. Wielding his scythe, Set tried to slash at Hikaru, who blocked it with his staff. It was at that moment that Yamiko managed to land a hit on Set's stomach. "Yes! Got him!"

"Not quite." "Huh?!" Yamiko looked at where she had attacked, to see that her fan was the thing that was damaged. Set kicked Hikaru down and began to strangle Yamiko. He began to squeeze down hard and rose her up as she kicked at him and tried to pry his claws out of her neck.

"Yamiko! Let her go! MYTHOSPELL- TORRENT!" A surge of water came out of Hikaru's MythoTome. It appeared that the blast would hit Set, but the Jackal effortlessly slashed through it. "Any last words, MythoViolet?"

"Yeah...NOW KEN!" "WHAT?!" "MYTHOSPELL- DRAGON'S INFERNO SLASH!"

Ken (MythoRed) charged at Set and managed to land a devastating blow, causing the place that Yamiko had hit earlier to burst into flames. He dropped Yamiko, and Ken caught her and jumped back. "YOU BASTARD, HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO DO THAT TO ME?! NOBODY HAS EVER WOUNDED ME BEFORE!" "Easy dumbass, while you were focusing on the others, I was charging up my blade. That dragon's fire is 100 times more powerful than what I've used on your lackeys, so there's no way to put out the flames. You're finished Set."

The 5 Mythonger turned back into their human forms and walked away from the burning Jackal...

"THIS ISN'T OVER, YOU BASTARD."

Set got up and the flames were suddenly extinguished. He grabbed his scythe and threw it, its blade directly behind Yamiko...

Yamiko fell to the ground, as she looked up and couldn't believe what she saw.
"No...No way..."
"You're kidding me right?"
"O...Onii-chan?"
"KEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
