Being serious, as much as I like the flashbacks to Luka's past, I can't help but feel it's like I've jumped into a completely different show. I mean look how brutal the Zangyack are shown in the past, if they are happy to just drop their warships into the atmosphere and indiscriminately unleash hell...why have they been sending down one monster at a time on Earth? Yes, because then there'd be no show, but it's up to the show to convince us of these kinds of things or not raise these kinds of questions in the first place.

And that isn't mentioning the episodes creepy obsession with Luka's appearance, it was simultaneously insulting to the entire audience as it was to the characters themselves. Especially considering, although I don't care much for actresses performance, Luka has been able to be a core part of the team, and not just a skirt tacked on to stop the audience complaining like Ahim basically has been. So just resulting Luka to "the pretty one" was kinda disgusting in my books.

It's easy to blame Zangyack's lackluster performance during the series on Warz Gil's incompetence, but that reason doesn't hold up towards the end Ackdos Gil shows up to take over the invasion.
