That is what I, amongst others, have said all along. The reason Super/Megaforce fails so utterly is because it's literally a pile of nothingness. We have no characters, we have no plot. It's just footage smashed together with people shouting over the top of it. I'm not even oversimplifying it, I couldn't tell you a SINGLE thing about Megaforce that wouldn't involve me talking about the sentai footage.

Super Megaforce at least has some semblance of purpose, maybe even a shred of plot here and there but as much as it's "cool" to shit on Samurai or Operation Overdrive or whatever they at least succeeded in the most basic elements of coherent storytelling. This is just a powerpoint slideshow.
