If you can hold on, and keep up with this shows very unfocused storytelling Kit's character arc really is very enjoyable. I kinda hated him at the start, but following him on this journey I've really grown to love him.

Although more action is appreciated, the generally crap editing kinda undermines some of the shows better action moments. For example, the dream sequence featuring Onyx vs Siren was so so so AWESOME but the grainy, low quality Ryuki footage makes it really obvious where the lines begin and end and it's really distracting. I didn't forgive it in the early 90s with MMPR so in 2009 it just seems inexcusable. Couldn't they have at least tried to clean the footage up?

Even the American Fights don't come off that great, footage from Ryuki is always edited in as awkwardly as possible and due to budget constraints they edit it so you think you're seeing more than you are, but it's done so poorly you totally notice they are just cutting corners. It also doesn't help that the action is so epic in the Ryuki footage and weirdly static and clunky when in the American fights.
