No real fight dialogue. No real soundtrack. No sense of "heroism" or anything of the sort. It literally became a badly acted soap opera. And it sucks, because the show had so much potential.
I actually disagree with you here 100%.
I thought it had FANTASTIC fight dialogue, I loved all the little details like how the Rider would actually get out of breath and stuff, I was much more convinced by the dialogue in this show during the fights than when Neo-Saban has their actors shout over the footage. In many ways it's better than even Disney as it knew when silence was golden, and didn't feel the need to fill every second with dialogue even if it meant spouting terrible puns without any context.
The show has a soundtrack, so I still don't get how 'no music' is a criticism of a show with actual music.
And although yes, the show was straight Rider vs Rider with no real monsters of the week to fight it still chronicled the battle against an alien which threatened the whole of the Earth. So "no heroism" is a flat out lie.

The show is called Kamen Rider, they take a lot of Ryuki 's outline for plots and characters, they cared to keep in mannerisms. Guys, it's a fucking Rider show.
The character arcs were poorly realised, but they were most certainly there and most certainly realised. Which is why it was so disappointed it always went nowhere.
Seriously dislike the show if you want, but don't just make up crap - that goes for both of the posts I quoted. Why do people want to hate the show so bad they just spout utter nonsense they would surely know has no base in reality if they actually watched the series?
Decade 05.
This is the last episode in Kiva's world? Wow this show ain't wasting any time. Not complaining really, this world had some good ides but it didn't really capitalise on their potential.
So Wataru is kid sized when he first transforms, but in the next shot he is always adult sized? That kind of weird lack of continuity between scale really frustrates my brain. It isn't the first time toku has had kids growing into full sized heroes, but there is no animation or anything here. He just starts as kid sized and in the next cut he's just a bit shorter than Decade, but they are still practically the same height. The Kivat Bow thing he turns into is pretty sweet though.
I love how the fight with Kaixa ends with him just walking off, you could say that whole fight was completely pointless but I say. WHY THE FUCK NOT. The fight in Castle Doran was a bit better, but considering how the castle is introduced I thought getting inside it would feel like a bigger deal but Tsukasa just appears in the corridor. WHY THE FUCK NOT. Also fuck yes, I love those double Rider kicks so much.
The biggest disappointment actionwise went down to Yusuke. I actually like him a lot, he's the Kuuga I wish we got in the series as well but he fought the Vassals twice, lost twice and both times it happened off screen? This show has the budget to have Decade throw people out of buildings and drop down after them, or to create contextless fights against other series Riders but it couldn't spend money on doing some fight scenes for Kuuga on his own? Why is he here then? And yes, I know he's the emotional crux of the series as Tsukasa is some soulless moron but this wouldn't even be necessary if Tsukasa was a better character to begin with.
