It certainly depends now if you care for Hikawa as a character since that is the whole point him. The G3 unit designed the Suit to fight Grongi and not the Unknown and still Hikawa fights and never ever backs down. If you cant get behind this Underdog aspect of the character I dont think you will enjoy G3 until G3-X shows up.
