As a former worker at FXG, I've seen the way things have come in and gone out. Not totally sure about the other guys, but coming in, if it's on a bulk truck & packed, damage can happen....a lot. But we did try to repack it before things went out, and everything got documented. It's hit & miss. But I've seen some things that look irreparable, and definitely depends on the worker repacking/repairing the package. Drivers try to fix a bad repack if they can. But overall, in those warehouses, it's fast paced, and workers aren't paid much (well, everyone doesn't think they're paid enough!) and management wheel grinders. So....just saying.

Now this in no way excuses the way stuff comes to you all. Just posing another POV. Just saying that sometimes it's not the sellers fault when it leaves their country. It all depends. Hell, at my other old job, one international customer had us take pictures of the shipment, but in that case, it was a container full of totes with ink/paint base. But I'd think the option should be there for any item, not matter how small or expensive.
