Honestly, about David Yost, I side with him. I've heard both sides and it's hard knowing what the heck happened.

It is hard to know what really happened, but have you ever seen that Video they shot on set for some classroom, it was clearly EARLY season 2 when it was made and at one point you see Thuy Trang have to put her hand on David yost arm to calm him while he stares daggers at JDF.....on a film that is supposed to be for kids, if he couldn't keep his cool for 5 minutes for some kids .... like 2 years before he left over the "abuse" I have a hard time believing some of his side.

Also regarding the original three departures, I once had a chance to chat very informally with a member of the production staff and he said that the three of them had an agent who pushed them to demand more and walk telling them the show would fold and do whatever....which obviously didn't happen. apparently the producers chalked it up to thier youth and there were no hard feelings in the long run.

It's always a tough call, I'd say Steve Cardenas, Karen Ashley and Johnny Yong Bosch were all inferior (too strong?) to the three who left and never really were any where near as memorable...BUT after leaving to show Johnny took additional lessons and became an astounding actor so it's tough to call if it was a good thing or a bad thing when they left.
