I suppose you're right, but the fact doesn't change that he never cared about the Sengoku Driver Users and probably slipped his mind. He's more worried about getting the Sengoku Driver users back home and also not caring who they are. And Mitchy never told his brother that he was a part of the Beat Riders, suppose that Zangetsu just glanced at Mitchy, he wouldn't care because he's wearing the Gaim affiliated clothing. And if I recall correctly, Takatora was extremely shocked when he did find out it was Mitchy. That it was him in the Gaim clothing in the later episodes. That's how I perceive otherwise, this movie makes absolutely no sense and wouldn't be canon. Unfortunately, I also read somewhere that this movie is canon, too. Just like how the ToQger Special and the Movie Taisen is also canon.

I love how Haruto tells Kouta "Fight to Protect" only to have that crushed by Zangetsu later and Kouta being ridiculed by DJ Sagara.
