I just watched it and it's... serviceable?

The plot is good enough, but it doesn't have the strenght or memorable characters of it's predecessor (in fact they are rather pointless), the effects are good but the suits are average at best.

The fight between Godzilla and Anguirus was the highlight of the film, it was brutal and feral, with the defeat of Anguirus coming across as possibly the strongest moment of the film.

The way they defeated Godzilla this time was also clever.

It was an ok film, but nothing to write home about.
