I think their egos have outgrown realistic expectations. The main thing that I think drives them is their own overwhelming greed and lust for power. Now I'd hate for Viacom to go out of business, but their actions have left a dark spot that'll never go away.

Still, if enough people are willing to stand up to Viacom they may change their ways, but that may be a pipe dream at best.
