Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Zero's Saber - also known as King Arthur/Arturia - is everywhere. She's insanely popular. And that's just the anime. There's also more games than just Stay Night that feature her. So it's been done before. And yes, she's a badass at times... but also literally just the clichéd love interest at others.

Make your own female character if you want to show a powerful one. Genderbending King Arthur, who was most definitively male, to "create" one and then just resort to sex appeal... Nah, I don't like it.
