The Darkness as Come

“We repeat our earlier message: Evacuate the City! We have reports that they’re swallowing everything, leaving only rubble and destruction! The Police are trying to hold them off.. But if you hear this message evacuate now! .. -Message Repeats-” The broadcast repeating on the endless loop wouldn’t have been heard. The television laying on the streets, barely connected in the rubble that was once an apartment block. While people flooded the alleys and streets. Attempting to escape the catastrophe walking behind them.
Her Armor shimmered against the gloom above her. Royal purple fabric wrapped loose around her legs, flowing off whenever she took another step forward. The fabric matching the V-necked vest which clung against her chest. Beneath her body covered in smooth silver armor, which gleamed like mirrors. And though a hood drew over her features, casting them beneath in complete shadow.. You could still make out her mouth, and ruby red lips. And that sadistic smirk coming to them…
Surrounding her were the minions of her father. The Scales. Bipedal scaled warriors, each with shield and sword, without benefit of armor. Only scales and a leather lion cloth to protect them while they ransacked the remaining buildings, and horrified the innocents running for their lives. “Go, My Pets.. Destroy them all before my Father comes to swallow them whole…"

“Shilynn!" The call came from high above her. And immediately she sneered, almost growling as she made out the five young people on the ledge. “This is the last city your father claims!" Kimberly stood five foot six. A green eyed athletic woman of twenty four, with her black hair whipping behind her in the coming maelstrom. Like her friends beside her she wore their uniform. Black laced boots, with baggy fighting styled Gi tucked into the ankles. A black Vest with a short sleeved tunic beneath. The tunics, and trim, on each of their uniforms matching their respective colors.
Kimberly reached behind the small of her back, pulling out her powerful Drakon Morpher. The buckle was large as two man’s fists placed together. Gold outlaying the sleeping Drakon Zord in the middle. Sleeping, with it’s body wrapped around the exposed head. And the symbol of her fire element emblazoned on it’s forehead. “FIRE DRAKON CHANGE!”
Beside her was Devon. Drakon Blue. He stood taller than Kimberly by two inches, with a short cut fade and deep brown eyes. And the same slender build. And he to pulled out his morpher, his dragon baring the symbol of Water. “WATER DRAKON CHANGE!” Beside him came RJ. Randolph stood a short five foot and two inches, with curled blonde hair and blue eyes. He seemed so young beside the others. But that didn’t stop him from pulling his morpher free from behind him, and displaying that Lightning Element proud.“ELECTRIC DRAKON CHANGE!”
Next was Alexandria. Waist length blonde hair meticulously braided with pink ribbon all the way through. Little wonder what the Five foot four, blue eyed, girl’s color was. Reaching behind her, displaying her morpher with that Air elemental symbol.. She to joined her friends. “WIND DRAKON CHANGE!”
And lastly there was Dirk. The muscle bound six foot two, hazel eyed, bald-headed commander of Rock. He was built like a linebacker, and had a face to match. And like the others he displayed his morpher and let that deep baritone rumble forth. “EARTHEN DRAKON CHANGE!”

Each of their Drakons awoke, roaring through the storm while the symbols upon their foreheads exploded with light. Huge luminescent dragons of their respect colors appeared behind each ranger. Their claws touched their hands becoming stylized dragonic gauntlets. Their feet merged with theirs forming dragonic styled boots and belts where their Morphers came to rest. Locking into place while the dragon’s torsos all merged against their rangers. Becoming silver triangular shields against their chests, each with a single jewel matching their color in the center. And their heads, coming to land upon theirs, forming dragonic masks like large snarling beasts. The final touch came in armor. Matching their colors, beneath their dragonic pieces came armor. Similar to a movie about five young people learning the power of Ninja to save the world from an oozing enemy.
Each of them stood proud. Drakon Red put her hands defiantly on her hips. Drakon Blue stood beside her, clasping his hands behind the small of his back. Drakon Yellow stood with his hands clenched down at his sides. Pink swayed her arms playfully, with a soft tilt to her head. And Black stood behind them. By far the tallest he towered above with his arms folded against his broad chest.
