Drakon Black grasped his belt, slid the buckle free and with both hands thrust it skyward. “I CALL ON THE ANCIENT EARTHEN BEAST, ROCK LORD DRAKON!” The sides of his buckle detonated like locks on an old seal, and the Drakon held within roared itself to life. Launching the buckle the beast grew to incredible size. The Zord was a silver and black bipedal Dragon, with samurai-styled plate armor along it’s shoulders, against the thighs, and along the thick tail of the beast.
Drakon Yellow was next. Unhooking his belt, thrusting it out, he called forth his beast! “I CALL ON THE ANCIENT BEAST OF LIGHTNING, STORM LORD DRAKON!” The panels of his buckle illuminated bright yellow, sparks of electricity crackling off the great Drakon inside as it’s eyes erupted yellow. And the beast freed itself from inside. Yellow’s Drakon was yellow and black, a great thick bodied wingless serpent of the skies. Moving like a great snake through the clouds, erupting great flashes of lightning all around the beast. Shaped like some great Chinese zodiac Dragon of legend.
Pink reached for her buckle, thrusting it skyward with one hand “I CALL THE ANCIENT BEAST OF THE WIND, SKY LORD DRAKON!” A great wind swirled around her as her buckle opened and released her roaring Drakon within. The white and pink highlighted Drakon was a mirror of Storm Lord. Rising into the skies above, circling through the clouds until sunshine broke through behind the beast
“I CALL THE ANCIENT OCEANIC BEAST, DRAKON LORD OF THE WAVES!” Blue’s dragon took from his buckle and dove itself into the great body of water angrily lapping waves against the shore. The roar of the beast so loud the water itself moved from around the beast, exposing it to open air above. The silver and blue beast matched Rock Lord perfectly. Except for the fan-like scales rising on either side of it’s spine, moving from it’s neck down along to tip of that thick tail.
And finally Drakon Red removed her buckle. Holding it straight above her high with both hands, she summoned the most powerful of their summoned Drakon machines. “I SUMMON THE GREATEST OF THE ANCIENT BEASTS, VOLCANIC LORD DRAKON!” Her hands ripped from the buckle as it become engulfed in flames. The Great Beast roaring itself into life, growing as it flew ever skyward. Only to land behind the rangers, making the earth beneath them quake and shift. The Great Dragon was shaped like a great Doberman. Large black horns rising from the dragonic head, it’s thick tail wrapped close around all four of it’s legs. With those four great wings spread wide behind the beast.
All five Rangers settled into their respective cockpits. Each one themed in their respect colors, looking as though they were sitting in small caves. With their symbol behind them on a great banner, and consoles before them to help guide their beasts.
“We can’t waste time, bring them together!” Each Ranger connected their buckle against their console, watching it as it unfolded. Merging, becoming one with the great beast. And in unison “DRAKON LORD MEGAZORD!"

Volcanic Lord leapt from it’s shore side perch. Fore and hind legs tucking close against the body of the beast. While the tail detached, and the wings all laid flush against the back. Like four great fins rising from it’s spine. Earthen and Water Lords both contorted. Arms and legs tucking into the body, tail folding against their backs, while their heads tucked down low against their shoulders. Locking into place around Volcanic’s folded hind legs.
Wind and Lightning were next. The wings of Wind detached, connecting into the back of the Volcanic and stretching wide, while both Drakons folded their arms and legs inside their bodies. Their tails detaching while both beasts became the arms of the great Megazord. With their mouths opening to reveal armored fists.
Volcano’s head lowered. Sinking into the chest to became the chest plate with the large black horns laying flush against the shoulders. And once it all tucked away, the head of the Megazord rose from between the shoulders of Volcanic. Face-plated, brilliant yellow eyes, with a helmet sculpted to look like Drakon Red Volcanic Zord.
The last piece were the detached tails. Red’s forming the great blade, while Yellow and Pink’s became the handle, of the Megazord’s long Zweihander.

The Megazord rumbled forward but Deathkon wasn’t waiting. The skeletal beast wrapped itself around one of the tallest buildings left standing, it’s maw opened wide, sucking in debris and anyone not fortunate enough to have escaped.
“Now Pink!” Nodding, Drakon Pink pulled her controls back with all her strength. Causing the great Zord to raise it’s right arm towards the beast and retract it’s hand back into the reforming dragonic head. “LORD TORNADO!” The opened maw of her Zord released a maelstrom wind, shaking the building, sending explosions high into the air as the skyscraper swayed through the assault. Like they hoped the Deathkon lost grip, and was sent helplessly tumbling down to the emptied streets beneath.
But the beast was already flailing, already starting to upright itself again. “We have to end this now.” Each Ranger nodded their helmets, and smashed their hands against the control in the center of their consoles. Crying out in unison “DRAKON LORD ULTIMATE FINAL CHARGE!" Both hands gripped the Zweihander. Raising the weapon straight above the head of the Megazord as glowing orbs swirled around it. Each the color of the rangers controlling the weapon. Until each one became one with the blade. Making it glow so bright the storm clouds above broke, bathing the destroyed city in beautiful sunlight. And once again, all together, “DRAKON LORD CATACLYSM!"
The Great Zord struck it’s sword down. Impacting the ground with enough force the Earth split before it sending flames skyward taller than any mountain. Launching the great wave of destruction towards the Deathkon who was unable to block the assault. Writhing, trembling, the skeletal beast finally exploded with a resounding shockwave stretching far in every direction.

In the distance, their Megazord rested upon one knee with both hands atop it’s inverted sword. Which rested into the earth before it. While each Ranger began the search for survivors. Thankfully, they found more than even they hoped. Helping them each return to safety. Kimberly though stood atop the ruined rubble of what used to be a school. Holding her helmet close, tucked beneath her right arm.
“You did everything you could, Kim. We all did.” Black stood beside her. With his helmet removed, he was wiping some sweat off his brow. And despite herself she couldn’t help but smile seeing all he did was smudge his forehead with soot from the rubble he helped clear. “I know we did. But look at this, Dirk. Look at all the destruction they caused"
She lost her smile. Surveying the damage of another decimated city. “We aren’t doing good enough. This is the third city they destroyed, the third population we couldn’t save from becoming homeless. Yes. We stopped more from happening, yes we destroyed the monster-of-the-week, and yes we sent Leviathan packing. .. But we have to do better.” And Dirk laid that massive hand down upon her shoulder. “And we will. We just formed this team, we just started fighting back. Don’t you go surrendering now, Girl.” Kim nodded, and turned herself towards her friend. “You’re right.. Guess I just needed to hear it."
