I like the idea of the Zangyack being a seperate entity from all of the Goseiger baddies. That is, the Megaforce battle the Warstars, and then the other two groups, and then as part of the big finale to the first half of the season, the Zangyack show up. Perhaps the Warstars and the others are scared of the Zangyack and retreat (ala Zedd and Rita running from the Machine Empire). Cue reshot Legend War footage and enter the Gokaiger footage.

Heck, the Zangyack could be a reference to the Machine Empire. They have a lot of mechanical looking characters and all. The "Second Galactic Machine Empire" or something.
