Which game was it first time you guys played as sonic??

My first encounter with Sonic was a demo version of Sonic Advenutre DX which got the first level and others!!
I then asked my dad to buy the real game, and I got it and played it with joy.
And that has been my favorite sonic game of all time.
I have beaten the game 4 times and I never got bored

I really love Sonic, but it is such a shame that the games have gotten bad in my opinion in the years... well generations is a exception
