I sometimes feel that Japanese stuff tends to misplace characters to designs. Momotaros and Kintaros pretty well suit their designs, but nothing about Uratros really implies what he's like, and Ryuutaros could not be more different. He's also just plain obnoxious, and is absolutely a tired archtype "child" character. Just because you bounce a lot does not make you a "kid."

But Double-Action Gun Form is just a cool song.

Yeah, Ryuutaros is annoying. He's not really a kid, he sounds more like a teenager whose gone into self-denial about his age. He's not a little kid, he's a teen having a midlife crisis! (Just repeated the same thing.) As for design, I didn't find him that cool-looking. He looked a little too...shiny. The head looks cool, but the rest of the body looks like it was made from recycled material on the spot.
But, hey, who am I to judge? Some people might grow to like him...and I'm not including me because I already watched the whole series. And now I'm suppressing the urge to post spoilers for the whole series. (Hana is Airi's daughter. )
