Hikari Sentai Maskman - 01

It starts off pretty weird. I mean the flashback sees Takeru giving a woman he just meant a pair of brand new heels he happened to have inside of his guitar case, obviously meant as a present for someone else, after just watching her appear out of a sewer.

As though that happens every day.

I won't give away what she is but it does make sense later on, like five minutes later on. But at first it's a real wtf moment.

I absolutely love the designs for the Underground Empire though. Each one is better than the last, with Zeba being the absolute best. Though the two Ninja Fumin and Obayu are very close behind. The whole darkness thing.. that sounds familiar... maybe something to do with trains...

I am loving this show so far. The vehicles are beautiful, the mech I saw from the opening looks amazing. Not boxy like Daizyujin (The original Megazord), very sleek. And of course there's a drill tank. Cause Japan and drill tanks

And the Maskman suit designs.. I question the earrings on Pink and Yellow, but other than that I love them completely.

I think Sentai found a new Sentai he loves. Very awesome.
