I don't generally have such strong reactions to a new design for a character, but this one is just plain opposed to the actual character.

I'm sorry I was nitpicking. I just wanted to get the idea clear. A bit of context, I don't read the comic at all, so when you said artwork is just bad, I had to know exactly what you meant. Because I could not really understand how people would find the artwork from a purely technical sense horrible.

It's really just that. We're thinking on two different wavelengths. I thought about the design from a completely neutral point of view, you took into account the actual interpretation of the character. You're not wrong. I just wanted to clarify that.

Because if from a technical point of view this was horrid, then most of comics should be considered atrocious.

So now that I understand, it makes sense to me that the interpretation and style of the character was considered to be inappropriate to Batgirl. Not the technical aspects of the artwork.
