Eh, I've seen worse. So uh... well Google "Takashi Murakami sculpture" if you want a real "WTF JAPAN?!" moment, I'd rather not describe them here. (And I'll note images of them were thrown at us randomly in the middle of class. It was pretty inappropriate of the teacher.)

And the Marvel Figmas... Look right below the poster. You can see an unpainted prototype of Iron Man and a painted Spider-Man... They're super deformed styles. And I'm pretty sure that's all the poster is referring to. I got reeeeally excited until I scrolled down and saw that.
