Watched The Girl Who Leapt Through Time recently. I really liked it. It was oozing with charm and was a quite relaxing to watch.



It wasn't without issues, though this may be just subjective to me. I felt at times the pace of the movie was too slow, as if certain scenes were artificially lengthened to add to the running time. Also, things started to get a bit difficult at the end, and I struggled to try to keep sense of the logic or the reasons behind things. Emotionally, the ending was very satisfactory, but I felt distracted as I tried to understand what was going on, or why characters made certain decisions.

Still, it's a fantastic movie worth watching, and a good end to a tired day. It's not heart-racing exciting or roll-on-the-floor funny, but it has a bit of both and is just too charming to not be entertaining. In that respect it is very similar to a Studio Ghibli movie. Definitely do recommend it, and anyone here who has seen it, I'd love to discuss the spoilery plot details with you guys!
