Extra Chapter 1: A who's who of Nightmaranger.

I hope you all have been enjoyed my little series about five monsters who have come to our world to battle the forces that have enslaved theirs. But I bet you all have asked yourselves this: Just who are these people and why do they act the way they do? Well wonder no more! I'll give our heroes their bios as well as what they're based on. Every time I reach a new page I'll put up new bios for everyone else.

Blaise/Nightmare Red: Shy, clumsy and yet the most noble and kind hearted. Would rather be outdoors doing gardening than fighting but understands what needs to be done. Fond of the Goth subculture, he is often found in dark places. A childhood friend of Alasdair, he is the only one who gets along with him...well most of the time. Has a slight crush of Melia but he may never admit to it. Based on vampires(the good kind, not those shitty Twilight ones) and the game Areo the Acrobat. Has fire and energy draining powers and uses the Hanging Staff.

Melia/Nightmare Green: Friendly and cheery to a fault, Melia would rather settle things the peaceful way rather than with violence. It is this mellow temperament than earned her the place of second in command. Nearly always has a joke or funny quip on hand. Also harbors a crush on Blaise but is too unsure about what he feels to state so. Due to a betrayal from Scorpios she can fall into a state of rage at the drop of a hat. But for the most part she's a good friend and a sharp mind, second only to Gregory's.Based on frogmen and the game Chameleon Twist. Uses plant powers and is a strong jumper and kicker.Uses the Swamp Hammer to smash her enemies.

Alasdair/Nightmare Yellow: Having fought both against Overshadow and for him reluctantly you can't really blame him for being the way he is now, He was always a pessimist but now he's a total downer and a unrepentant misanthrope. But he gets along OK with Blaise who is his childhood friend but tends to clash with him over odds and ends. The other three dislike how much of a snark he is and he dislikes them back. Was meant to be the leader but a mix up during their getaway left him as the Yellow Ranger, a color he hates with a passion. Based on kelpies(a water horse that drags its victims to their deaths underwater from Ireland) and Super Castlevania 4. Wields the Ocean Whip and has water powers. Has limited super speed and can make his skin sticky.

Aiko/Nightmare Pink: Quite possibly one of the kindest people you'll ever meet, Aiko is one who loves to love. Supportive, caring and always one to see the bright side, she is indeed the moral support of the team. However she also comes from a rich family that lost everything when Overshadow took over so she's always looking to get money as well. This can border on greed at times, but she will put her friends above money....most of the time.Based on Harpies and Actraiser. Has wind powers and can fly at speeds over 88 MPH. Duel wields the Crusher Sais.

Gregory/Nightmare Blue: A total techhead, it was his idea to make a Sentai team Overshadow would have used to conquer the world...if he had known all five of the intended users were going to use the Cloaking Cells to rebel against his cruel rule. Greg loves children and is always looking at the latest technology. Cheerful and creative, he's the brains of the operation. But being young he tends to act before thinking and is too headstrong for his own good sometimes.Based on werewolves and Altered Beast.Has electric powers and his claws can rend a 20 inch cinderblock cleanly in half. Also pack duel Wild Knuckles.
