As others mentioned more communication but even I could live with what we had if they changed one thing.

Get a new set of villains, seriously other than Kitazaki Lucky Clover was a joke. I mean they spent more than half the series trying to find their fourth member, and considering it was always the same formula of going after Takumi and Kiba with a random mook, you knew wouldn't work just making most episodes feel like filler.

That's why Kusaka(besides Kiba) became my favorite character. He was insane, screwed up the cast relationships, but at least he was interesting and caused conflict to get the plot moving. The stretch after Kusaka leaves after his introductory episodes and comes back were mindnumbingly boring. When he came back and moved the plot a bit I was cheering...even thought I hated him earlier. All because of how useless Lucky Clover was.
