I´m pretty much in the "never hated him" camp.

Dont get me wrong he is a lying and backstabbing little child that tried everything to make himself happy and failed miserably at it while destroying everything that was dear to him in the process. And thats exactly what I loved about him. I loved hating him and I love seeing him being confronted with his actions and all the pain and suffering he has caused.

Should he die because of it? If you had asked me this a week ago I would have sad yes. But now I´m not so sure of it anymore. It would be alot more fitting if he had to live with his sins and never really recover from all the damage he has done. Kouta and Mai have forgiven him but thats because they have a history with him beyond what we have seen in the show and Kouta is pretty much the nicest guy on earth.
