Not necessarily loss of interest, but that is a factor. For Sentai figuarts, unless I'm particularly attached to a design, I'll usually skip the whole team unless there's a green. Then I get that. With the team dynamic, it's either one, all, or nothing.

I don't think I've gotten rid of many Rider figuarts. The only one I can think of is Burning Agito. Part of that I think was that I haven't seen the show. Though he's a really cool design, I didn't "need" it.

I collect on more of a "need" basis now. And it's really subjective and a fine line between strong want and "need".

The only time I keep stuff in package is if it's some kind of windowed box and a figure with no articulation. If it doesn't do anything, I'll leave it. Pop! Vinyls for example.
