Concerning Dark Samus, she shares physical similarities with Samus, but from a power basis, they're completely different. She's not just Samus spray painted black.

Why? She's not just a palette swap like Dark Pit is. Yes, her outfit is very similar, but 2 things 1. She's a totally different character (Yes, I know that kind of applies to Dark Pit as well) 2. She's a different gender. Yes, you could argue "But Female Robin and Female Villiager!" but those are different gender versions of the SAME character, they aren't entirely different characters like Marth and Lucina, that and Lucina plays a huge role in Fire Emblem Awakening (to my understanding)so, to relegate her an alt would be a crime. Should she be more unique in terms of moveset? Yes, I won't disagree with that, but she shouldn't just be an alt costume. Maybe people wouldn't complain as much if she were DLC (Since DLC is rumored to exist) and I would have been ok with that, I wouldn't have minded paying a little extra for her.
