For me it will only hurt Drive when Drive is a really bad show. I dont compare shows in the sense of "I want everything to be like Show X" anymore. Thats a thing I did six years ago when Shinkenger aired but thats pretty much a thing of the past now.

I compare shows on its basic story structure, what it did with the characters, how logical the show presented its plot etc.

So ts not really a case of comparing Drive to Gaim but rather comparing Drive to Kamen Rider as a whole.
