I guess they didn't want people who already the Candy Toy versions to feel like they had two of the same Lock Seed.

They do, or at least should. The Taisen set has generic sounds. For example, RX says "RX Squash" Whereas the Candy version says "Revolcane" So the character lockseeds have more specific attacks and sounds for them. I imagine that would carry over into these, such as Stronger having 'Charge up' in place of Taisen's "Stronger Sparkling".

Rather curious as to what they will do for someone like Shin though. "Decapitation!"
