That actually was a rumor that was circling around very early on in the show. Basically, a silver haired character (basically some version of Yuuya since he had silver hair) would be a Kamen Rider Odin type character that would be the protector of Future Mai and have a golden lock.

The rumor had some truths to it, a male counterpart to Future Mai, a golden lockseed (Kamen Rider Mars in the movie) but for the most part, it was falso.
