[Shin Densetsu]

Alright we finally get to discuss this! I thought the ending was better than both the movie(ep: Final) and 13 Riders. I take it the TV series ending is the canonical ending. It was a melancholy and sad conclusion. I was SHOCKED Shinji died, I did not expect that to happen at all!. Surprised to see how Akiyama and Odin's last fight turned out. If not for Yui I think Ren would be dead.

It was disappointing to not see Asakura and Kitaoka have one last go at it however I think this was the writers' way of throwing fans for a loop. Also I was expecting more from Magna Giga. Genocyder...ate the guy...

I can't help but WANT the Riders to all remember what happened...there is a hint that at least Shinji and Akiyama know something is up, as it is very awkward when they meet at the end at Tea Atori.

If anything the last episode was very symbolic, you have to watch it from beginning to end to get all the symbolism. I had to rewind quite a bit to fully understand WTF was happening. Definitely wasn't a typical ending, and everything wasn't directly stated. However, as confusing as it was, I thought it was a well directed and written episode. It definitely got me thinking and to me, was a great ending.
