I get your limitations/exclusions of Femme-onward, but Chalice has at least two forms to switch between (the Wolf Undead was a Jack-level one, and had to switch to that when Mutsuki took his deck), and was as much of a secondary rider to Blade as Baron was to Gaim, even with Garren/Ryugen being the "official" ones.
