They have such a deep character list to choose from they could do it without a problem. And it doesn't even have to be a character, or characters, that anyone's heard of in years. Look at what they did movie-wise with Guardians of the Galaxy. I think these characters alone would make a great TV show that could take on DC.
I, for one example, would love seeing Heroes for Hire brought to television. Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Their powers aren't over the top, their costumes aren't flashy, their stories are gritty enough to put on footing with Arrow. And I think they'd do awesomely as a television series.
The reason Arrow and Flash are successful isn't only because of the writing, but more so the fact that they're actually wearing their suits. I could see Iron Fist being successful, but Cage would just be seen as almost a detective show. He guards the streets more then he fights supervillains, and that's what people want to see.
I think a Bishop or Cable tv series would be pretty cool. You can't really do a team one because the costumes alone would take the show broke. lol.
