predictable
and
predicting
something.
When someone predicted something about Gaim it was because the show set up those plot twists with carefully planted evidence as part of the larger mystery. They predicted events and facts.
Being
predictable
means a show's narrative is following conventions and typical developements. You're not examining evidence or deducing clues that come to a logical conclusion, you're being able to tell how events play out because they're typical and easy to figure out.
It's the difference between a cop drama where one case is predicted by examining the evidence at a crime scene and picking up on non-blatant clues to determine the culprit, verses a guy with an eyepatch, twirly moustache and foul demeanour that clearly says "bad guy" and then having him be the culprit.
