My first exposure to Go-onger was the Shinkenger vs Go-onger crossover, and it impressed me enough to want to watch the series. That crossover remains among the best in my book.

Yeah, I can see how the series can grate on people. My strategy is to just to forgo any expectations of the plot, and just enjoy the characters and their interactions. The plot is pretty much next to none.
