They're implying that, if they saw the picture without any notable and obvious ties to Digimon (Title, website, where they saw the initial picture, etc), they wouldn't instantly associate it to, well, Digimon

Well that was actually part of it. I looked at the poster and I recognized every single one of the characters, even if the art style was very different from what it used to be.

I mean... how can you not recognize Tai and Izzy.
