I've been thinking about the reason that they might've decided to go with Kamen Rider Drive having a Car this season instead of the box-standard bike. Aside from wanting to do something different. My theory is that in recent seasons the bike in Kamen Rider has been woefully underused. Now there are exceptions. W, but look back at how many times he actually used the bike. It was on screen, tyes. But used for more then the occasional Shotaro riding around the Windy City? Not much. Same for Wizard. It started strong with him using it to connect to Dragon. And yes he rode around on it quite a bit. But after a while it was just forgotten completely for battle. Especially once he got his Dragon form (Flame Dragon and so on). In Gaim it was hardly used at all. They had other vehicles, yes. Tulip Hopper (Still not a fan), Sunflower.. HoverBike...?, and Suika Arms. But the bikes themselves, Sakura Hurrian and Rose Attacker, were hardly used at all.

That's why I think he has a car now. And the car is very much a large part of the show. He's in it every episode, he gets his Tire Koukan's from it. If you took Trideron away from Drive it would change the entire show. You can't say that about the bikes of previous shows. Take away the bikes from Gaim and it'd be pretty much the same show. Same with Fourze, or OOO.

That's my theory anyway.
