I open this thread so that we can all share info about any movies or J-dramas that are good and has our favorite toku alumni in them.

To start off, I recommend Shonen Merikensack(Eng. title Brassknuckle Boys) starring Miyazaki Aoi. The show is about a record label employee named Kanna(played by Miyazaki Aoi) who finds the video to a gig of an awesome punk rock band called Shonen Merikensack on the web, and wants to scout them. But turns out, it was from the 80s on their final gig and currently they are mostly washed-up nobodies (their leader Akio is a bum, his younger brother Haruo took over the family farm, their vocalist Jimmy has become handicapped due to a certain incident, and their drummer Young is... just a dude). So now it is up to Kanna to whip these middle-aged former punkrockers back into shape.
