Yes they are a separate lines. But they ALL bear the Chogokin name. It has to do with the metal content of the figures, not just the toy subline. Chogokin figures, Soul of Chogokins, Super Robot Chogokins, and the related figures & lines amount to more than just some 1/3 sized figures, whatever it is you mean by that. They all fall into that category because of their metal content. Sentai Artisan is just the latest representation of Chogokin release. It still features the tagline for it on the box just like SOC's, SRC's, and the like.



Your just making an assumption about what qualifies as a Chogokin. Classic Chogokins were quite small but that set of characters for Chogokin (超合金) have been in use on most Bandai Japan toys products which featured metal content for the last 50+ years. Sentai Artisan is just the latest use of the term. In fact nearly all main sentai robos released up til Gaoranger still featured that logo on their box because of their metal content.
