The reason we enjoy RPM is that despite the somewhat derivative premise (and it is, no argument there), the characters were well developed and well acted, which is something of a rarity in PR. I haven't cared about an entire PR team as much as I did with RPM since PRiS.

That, and Doctor K was possibly the single greatest episode in the franchise. Never before has a PR mentor character had such an interesting, somewhat creepy, and tragic backstory as she had. How often do non-ranger characters ever get that kind of development!? And this was a show with a larger-than-normal number of rangers and was only 32 episodes! The amount of characterization was unprecedented for PR.
