Waltz with Bashir: Director Ari Folman takes us on a journey through 1982 Lebanon War in an effort to clear his memories, as he meets many of the people that defined his life during said time.

When one thinks documentaries it's hard not to imagine a bunch of people seated in front of a camera taking with the occasional dramatization, and this is not the exception, but a little detail here changes everything.
It's animated.

Aniamted documentaries are not something common, and somehow this decision makes a world of diffference, everything feels more striking, you get more caugth up in the tale, by shwoing us the history with an animated filter it ends up feeling more real.

The narrative is interesting, the events are fascinating and the animation wraps up everything, making for one unforgettable flick.
