Nostalgia has it's bad and good points.

Example - I bought Captain N and the game master on DVD a few years ago. Worst purchase i ever made. Some things are better left in the past.

But it can help lead you in the right direction to new things and experiences. Power Rangers lead me to Sentai and that lead me to Kamen Rider , which lead me to this forum , that is helping me meet new people and go to places i have never been like New York & Philly just because they have stores that sell Japanese toys. I am scouting martial arts classes and talking over plans with my wife to possibly get me a motorcycle down the line.

I would not have thought to do any of these things with my life if it wasn't for my hobby now.I would hate to imagine how bored i would be if i didn't discover tokusatusu. it's been the best thing for me


Maybe you just have to respect to past and use that as your guide into the future.
