I don't see how not seeing every episode makes the ending any less craptacular.

I'm not saying Gritta had to die. I didn't say they had to completely eliminate the Shadow Line. I'm saying Zed needed to die because he was the main villain. Zed just being kidnapped by Gritta means he is still out there to kill everyone. Just look at MagiRanger. They didn't get rid of Infershia, but they killed Nma, the main villain.
