Your hosts of Talkin Toku haven't had real, actual, serious tokusatsu discussions since early March. We have failed this city...er...fandom. To rectify that your favorite crew - Kickback/Chris, Den-O/Jordan, and Sentai Tamashii/Tom decided to get together and catch up on two months of tokusatsu in a show just over an hour long. Buckle your seat belts - this is one quick ride through all the time missed!

First off - TOYS! The guys talk about a toku toy that has come out that they love (or hate) - and the two that immediately come to discussion are DX Bison King from Shuriken Sentai Nininger as well as the Minipla Shurikenjin, also from Shuriken Sentai Ninninger. Who loves these toys? Who considers DX Bison King a line-killer? And who thinks the TK Kamen Rider Drive toys are just as good, if not better, than the recently released S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive figure?

A brief discussion then on the upcoming Power Rangers Movie and the fact the release date has changed to January 13th, 2017. Is this a good move for Power Rangers, or is this akin to waving the white flag of surrender knowing your product doesn't have a chance against other properties that reinvented themselves in a more serious or "omgdarkgritty" tone like the Marvel and DC properties? The guys weigh in!

Finally - the guys discuss Shuriken Sentai Ninninger. They've waited 10 episodes before beginning discussion on this series. Is it better than Ressha Sentai ToQGer? Are they enjoying it? And does the show need more than Star Ninger to keep the show interesting?

Discussion then begins on the topic - is all you really need Drive? That's right - it's time to talk Kamen Rider Drive and the hosts are all caught up on the show! That's right - all three hosts are now watching the show as it airs as opposed to not watching it at all. Has the show redeemed itself in their eyes? What do they think of all the new story developments surrounding not just Drive, but also Mach and Chase?
